The Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences (FLHS) – Branch 4 organized a seminar on “Psychotherapy through Music and Art”, attended by a group of students and professors.
At the beginning of the seminar, the Branch Director, Dr. Youssef Al-Akouri, gave a brief presentation on the importance of music in improving human mental health, followed by the Head of the Psychology Department, Dr. Sonia Chamoun, who presented an analytical approach to the role of music in improving emotional states.
After that, Dr. Hamda Farhat, professor of clinical and pathological psychology at the Lebanese University, spoke about the importance of music therapy and its positive psychological effects.
