Center MINE organized a webinar entitled “Financial Management for NGOs,” presented by Ms. Insaf Karbajha, Chief Financial Officer and doctoral candidate.
The webinar aimed to equip participants with the skills necessary to strengthen effective financial management, transparency, accountability, and sustainability within non-governmental organizations.
Ms. Karbajha presented the fundamentals and principles of good financial management, as well as the importance of integrity, accuracy, and strategic planning in managing NGO funds. She also summarized the different types of organizational budgets, including organizational or annual budgets, program and project budgets, and cash flow.
The webinar also provided participants with advice on how to anticipate future funding needs and economic challenges.
