Faculty of Sciences - Branch III

Students from the Software Engineering Department of the Faculty of Science (FS) – Branch 3 – Aya Al-Baarini, Hanan Al-Kadi, Yehya Hassan, and Alaa Al-Din Al-Dahabi – have created an app that helps track waste-related issues in the city of Tripoli and its surroundings.

The app allows citizens to file complaints (remotely) with the relevant authorities of the Union of Municipalities of Al-Fayhaa, while municipalities monitor the work and resolve issues in a simple manner, thereby reinforcing the principle of e-governance.

The app also helps to involve citizens in the process of revitalizing and developing the city, which strengthens everyone’s sense of responsibility.

The students who developed this app have been rewarded. It was created on the initiative of the Omran Association as part of the Moudon Al-Fayhaa waste management strategy, in collaboration with the Union of Al-Fayhaa Municipalities.
