Marie Anne Jaramani, a graduate of the Department of Cinema & Television at the Faculty of Fine Arts & Architecture – Branch 1, won the “Audience Choice” award at the first edition of the Byblos International Film Festival, which was held at the end of August 2025 in the old market of Jbeil.
Director Jaramani participated in the festival with her graduation film (Between Two Fires – written, directed, and acted), which addresses a humanitarian issue inspired by the reality of Lebanon and Ukraine in the shadow of war.
Jaramani, who holds a bachelor’s degree in cinema and television from the FFAA – Branch 1 / Class of 2024, considers that her studies at the Lebanese University provided her with essential support in her field of specialization in terms of information, knowledge, and friendships, noting that the works of her classmates were creative and innovative.
The Byblos International Film Festival brought togethe
