Jana Abdallah, a student at the Faculty of Science – Branch 1, ranked eighth globally in the Microsoft Skills World Championship/EXCEL category, which was held in Florida, USA, in July 2025.
Jana who is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry, qualified for the global edition of the championship after winning first prize in the Lebanese edition in May 2025.
The competition attracts thousands of participants from around the world, with students taking high-level tests in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud skills. It is considered one of the most important platforms for discovering digital talent and technical skills around the world.
