President Bassam Badran discussed with the President of Beirut Arab University, Dr. Wael Nabil Abdel Salam, ways to strengthen cooperation between the two universities in light of the academic cooperation agreement that was recently signed.
President Badran presented areas of cooperation, most notably the exchange of academic expertise, support for scientific research, challenges related to digital transformation in administration, education and research, and preparing students to adapt to the requirements of the job market.
It was agreed that the relevant deans at both universities would closely follow up to ensure the implementation of what was agreed upon and to monitor the development of higher education and its global and professional trends, as well as the need to keep pace with future academic developments in order to position Lebanese universities in the context of these developments.
