An award ceremony was held for the top winners of the “City of Cinema” student architecture competition, organized by the Ministry of Tourism during the 2023-2024 academic year.
The ceremony was sponsored by the Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts & Architecture, Dr. Hisham Zeineddine, and attended by Professor Maurice Mattar, representing the Minister of Tourism, Laura Khazen Lahoud, former Minister of Tourism Walid Nassar, the Director of Branch 2, Engineer Bernard Ghoussoub and faculty members, students, and interested parties.
Last year, the faculty ranked first for Best Architectural Design for the Lebanese Cinema City, with the project titled Filmopolis by students Ralph Sayyah and Reem Lichaa El Khoury.
