The Lebanese University, represented by Secretary General Mohammad Al-Baba, participated in the General Conference of the Federation of the Universities of the Islamic World, which recently held its fifth session in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, under the patronage of Minister of Education Misir Mardanov and with the participation of most member universities and a large number of personalities, organizations, unions, and institutions at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics.
The participants reviewed a series of organizational matters related to the Federation and various reports, and approved several projects, including the VirtualلاIslamic University, mechanisms for activating the Islamic Quality and Accreditation Agency, and the Islamic Universities Business Network (IUBN), which is important for linking university education outcomes to the labor market and the developmental and cultural needs of Islamic
