The Center for Educational Studies & Research at the Faculty of Pedagogy organized its annual international conference entitled “Scientific Research as a Pillar for Formulating Educational Policies: Towards a Sustainable Learning System”, under the patronage of President Bassam Badran, represented by the Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy, Dr. Khalil Al Jammal, and with the wide participation of researchers and educational experts from various Lebanese and Arab universities.
The first speech was delivered by the Head of the Center, Dr. Iman Khalil, who emphasized that scientific research is a fundamental pillar of any rational, fair, and sustainable educational policy.
Dean Al Jammal considered scientific research to be the basis for developing policies and legislation and drawing up strategic educational plans, leading to increased effectiveness of the educational system and, consequently, contributing to the development and progress of society.
