The Geography Department at the Faculty of Letters & Human Sciences – Branch 2 organized a scientific seminar entitled “Water in Lebanon: A Desired Reality”, presented by Dr. Bahzad Hakim, Professor of Geography at the Lebanese University and specialist in karst sciences, hydrogeology, and hydrochemistry.
The seminar discussed the importance of water and the reality of dams in Lebanon and the role of karst rocks in feeding groundwater and emphasized the importance of applied work in promoting geographical studies.
