Kicking off activities at the Olympic swimming pool at the Rafik Hariri University City sports complex in Hadath, trial swimming races were held, with a number of students from the Lebanese University participating in the 50-meter freestyle event.
Nagham Nakkour from the Faculty of Agronomy won the 50-meter freestyle, and Nour Fasad from the Faculty of Engineering – Branch 3 came in second.
Hadi Ayoub from the Faculty of Engineering – Branch 3 won first place in the 50-meter freestyle and came in third in the 50-meter butterfly.
Saeed Houmani from the Faculty of Medical Sciences won the 50 m butterfly, tying with Jad Jouny from the Faculty of Engineering – Branch 3. Houmani also came third in the 50 m freestyle behind Jawad Sarhan from the Faculty of Economics & Business Administration – Branch 1.
