The Sports Activities Department organized the first university championship in Lebanon, the “Laser Run,” which includes running and shooting with a laser gun at fixed targets.
The technical and administrative coordination of the championship was handled by the sports activities coordinator for Branches 1, Coach Saleh Zeaiter, with the assistance of coaches from the department, including Mahdi and Alaa Zeineddine, who also served as referees.
A total of 21 students participated in the championship, which was held at the sports complex in the Rafik Hariri University Campus – Hadath. The female students competed in a 1,600-meter race, while the male students competed in a 2,000-meter race.
Diala Zebian (Faculty of Engineering) won the women’s title, recording a time of 7:56:93, while Mohamad Zaki Monzir (Faculty of Information) came first in the men’s race, recording a time of 7:56:93.
