The Cultural Committee at the Faculty of Letters & Human Sciences – Branch 1 organized a seminar entitled “How to Deal with Grief and Loss,” presented by Dr. Ghina Ismail, Professor of Psychology at the AUB.
The seminar was attended by students, professors, and those interested in the psychological and social fields from the Lebanese University and a number of private universities.
The seminar focused on psychological support mechanisms and healthy coping methods in times of crisis and personal and collective loss. Dr. Ismail addressed the stages of grief and loss, the dynamics of these stages, and how to deal with them (with exercises and real-life experiences).
