President Bassam Badran met with the Turkish Ambassador to Lebanon, Murat Lütem, in his office at the Central Administration Building – Museum, in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty of Science, Dr. Ali Kanj, Dr. Véronique Kazpard from the International Relations Office, Dr. Ahmad Rabah, and Dr. Chadi Khawandi.
The meeting discussed academic cooperation between the Lebanese University and Turkish universities, the activation and development of agreements signed between the two sides, in addition to the exchange of visiting professors and the coordination of joint academic and research activities, particularly in the field of “Turkish Studies” at the Faculty of Letters & Human Sciences.
