Faculty of Fine Arts and Architecture - Branch IV

The Faculty of Fine Arts & Architecture – Branch 4 participated in organizing the event “Art Meets Science”, held in partnership with CNAM – Lebanon, the French Embassy and the French Institute.

Teams representing more than 50 educational institutions from different regions of Lebanon (students and supervisors) participated in the event, in accordance with organizational conditions stipulating respect for the full schedule of activities, from the technical implementation stages to presentation and evaluation.

The opening session included a presentation on the CNAM Lebanon’s areas of expertise, and a methodological explanation of how scientific concepts can be expressed through art in a framework that combines the Francophone dimension with creative content.

A session was also dedicated to creating artwork, during which participants freely expressed scientific concepts through drawing, taking advantage of the open artistic framework
