The fourth-year team won the Faculty of Medical Sciences Mini-Football Tournament, which was held at the Rafik Hariri University Sports Complex in Hadath.
The winning team defeated its sixth-year counterpart with an unanswered goal scored by Ali Mahdi in the 15th minute of the first half.
The two teams received the championship trophies from Sports Activity Department coach Danny Nahnouh, who led the final match, while coach Abdulkarim Fakih helped lead the championship matches.
Six teams from different academic years participated in the tournament in two groups.
