The Physics & Life Sciences Department team won the title of the Streetball Tournament at the Faculty of Science – Branch 1 in which professors from the five branches of the faculty in addition to a number of employees participated, and was organized and managed by Abdulkarim Fakih, a coach in the Department of Sport Activity, who supervised the event.
In the final match, Physics & Life Sciences Department defeated the Department of Applied Mathematics, scoring 8-3.
In the semifinals, Physics & Life Sciences Department defeated the Chemistry Department 12-3, and Applied Mathematics Department defeated the Pure Sports & Employees Department 8-5, under the leadership of students Chafik Chbaro and Jad Fayyad.
The winners were crowned by the director of Branch 1, Dr. Hussein Bazzi and Dr. Mohammed Dbouk, and Dr. Ali Bazzi (Life Sciences Department) won the title of best player in the tournament.
