Students of the Deanship of the Faculty of Letters & Human Sciences/Second Year master’s in history organized a national day in which they discussed their suggestions, ideas, and research aimed at enhancing the role of history in building the Lebanese citizen and promoting tourism in Lebanon.
The students were divided into groups of one student from each of the faculty’s five branches and spent about three months discussing what they have in common and what they disagree with in order to come up with proposals aimed at making history a modern, inclusive and non-controversial subject.
Master’s Day was held in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Suha Faraj Al-Samad, and under the supervision of the History Master’s Coordinator at the Deanship, Dr. Imad Gharli.
