Dr. Naji Kehdy, of the Faculty of Letters & Human Sciences (Branch 4) – Department of Geography, has filed a patent (No. 13141) with the Ministry of Economy & Trade for the invention of the “Level Clear” machine, which checks the change in turbidity of water extracted from wells for crop irrigation or domestic use.

The machine is characterized by its ability to give the well pump the command to stop running when the turbidity level exceeds the authorized limit.

Dr. Kehdy has already registered two inventions, the first concerning a precise machine for measuring and calculating hours of sunshine and clouds and determining climatic conditions in a specific area for agricultural use, while the second concerns the development of a machine for checking changes in groundwater levels.
