A graduate of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Haya Hamed was ranked among Lebanon’s top female entrepreneurs in the “Woman Francophone Entrepreneur” competition organized by the AUF in partnership with Berytech and L’Orient-Le Jour.

 

The prizes were shared by three Lebanese projects, including Haya Hamed’s Pharma Organic, which focuses on organic plant products as an alternative to chemical products, and meets the requirements of efficacy and health safety while taking into account low cost and environmental protection requirements.

 

The finals were held at AUF’s Francophone Employability Center (CEF) in Beirut, following the selection of 10 finalists, 7 representing Lebanon and 3 the Middle East region. Each participant had 3 minutes to make a brief final presentation to the jury, in an attempt to convince them of the importance and viability of their project.
