The project by Oussama Ali Souleiman, from the Faculty of Fine Arts & Architecture – Branch 3 has been ranked among the top 20 projects worldwide shortlisted for the Dewan Award for Architecture 2024 organized by “Tamayouz Excellence Award”.

 

Out of 188 entries from 34 countries, 20 projects were selected for the global competition, which aimed to shape Iraq’s narrative on the world architectural stage (design of the Iraqi pavilion for a world exhibition at the Baghdad International Exhibition Center).

 

Oussama Ali Souleiman, a fifth-year architecture student, was the only winner in this category among the Lebanese participants from the Lebanese University and private universities.
