Under the umbrella of the International Astronomical Union, coordinators of astronomical awareness offices and coordinators of astronomy education offices in the Arab world, organize a series of monthly lectures and workshops aimed at promoting interest in astronomy.
The 4th lecture in the series and the 2nd in 2022 will be organized via Zoom on 28 January 2022 in cooperation with the Office of the Coordinator of Astronomical Awareness in Lebanon and the Lebanese Organization for the Publishing of Astronomy (LOGA). The lecture entitled “When the Sun Blows Us”, will be presented by Professor Ahmad Shaalan, Professor at the Lebanese University, National Coordinator of Astronomical Awareness in Lebanon and President of LOGA.
