President Zouheir Chokr and MEDTRONIC Regional Vice President Sobhi Jaroudi will sign a cooperation agreement between the two parties to create an anatomy laboratory for training surgeons and dentists in the latest surgical techniques at the Lebanese University. This is the first laboratory of its kind in the Middle East. The ceremony will take place next Friday at 11:30 am in the presence of the deans of the Faculty of Medical Sciences and the Faculty of Dental Medicine, Dr. Pierre Yared and Dr. Mounir Doumit, department heads and a number of doctors from the Central Administration.
This laboratory is expected to become an essential training center for anatomy and modern surgical techniques in the region. It is supported by MEDTRONIC and will host several workshops over the next few years for medical students of all years, surgeons, and their colleagues from the Faculty of Dental Medicine.
