The Doctoral School of Science & Technology announces the opening of applications for “half scholarships” for joint PhD programs (Cotutelle) offered by the Islamic Center for Guidance & Higher Education for the academic year 2025-2026.
Eligibility requirements:
– The student should be among the top graduates of their master’s program, with a grade point average of at least 50% in their master’s research specialization.
– Students who ranked first and second in their professional master’s specialization are eligible to apply.
– Applicants should be under 35 years of age.
– Applicants should hold a research master’s degree obtained no more than three years prior to the date of application, accompanied by a copy of the equivalency certificate issued by the Ministry of Education if obtained from a private or foreign university.
– Applicants should provide proof of a second half scholarship from the foreign university participating in the PhD program.

4. Lebanese or French baccalaureate transcript
5. Copies of university degrees
6. Transcript of the four years of university studies showing clear ranking
7. Transcript of grades for the first semester of the second year of the research master’s program, clearly indicating the student’s ranking
8. Thesis proposal of 3 to 5 pages written in French or English and signed by the two supervising professors, including a summary of the research, the problem statement, the methodology, the expected objectives, and the timetable
9. Statement from the second source of funding (half of the scholarship to cover the students’ stay abroad)
10. Statement of support from the thesis supervisors
11. Statement of support from the scientific director of the laboratory abroad
12. Letter of motivation from the student
13. Two letters of recommendation
14. Scientific documents (publications, etc.) if available
