The President of the Lebanese University, Dr. Bassam Badran, held a meeting with the deans of the faculties and institutes to consult on how to save the upcoming academic year and the practical steps that can be taken.
At the beginning of the meeting, the participants condemned in the strongest terms the persistent crimes committed by the Israeli enemy against Lebanon and its people, prayed for the innocent martyrs and wished a speedy recovery for the wounded, especially those from the Lebanese University – professors, employees and students.
The meeting issued the following statement:
First: Inviting the directors of faculties and branches in different regions to conduct a survey about the professors, employees and students and their whereabouts and displacement.
Second: Inviting LU students to register for the academic year 2024-2025 on SISOL in order to know the number of students in each faculty and branch according to each major.
Subsequent circulars will be issued by the Lebanese University Presidency to determine the date and process for the start of the academic year 2024-2025.
