Following the decision of the Minister of Education and Higher Education, which left the directors of schools, institutes and universities the decision to assess the security situation in terms of opening or closing educational institutions, and in view of the state of instability resulting from the continued Israeli attacks, and in order to preserve the safety of students, professors and employees.
The President of the Lebanese University, Dr. Bassam Badran, announces the closure of the university branches in Saida, Nabatieh and Tyre on Monday, 23 September 2024, provided that the university will issue subsequent statements according to the development of the situation.
