Receiving applications for the CEE of the “Master in Strategic Studies” for the academic year 2021-2022

The Center for Research & Strategic Studies in the Lebanese Army and the Deanship of the Faculty of Law, Political & Administrative Sciences (FLPAS) announce the receipt of applications for participation in the Competitive Entrance Exam (CEE) for the joint Master in Strategic Studies organized in cooperation between FLPAS and the Lebanese Army.

Candidates shall submit applications to the FLPAS Deanship in Tayouneh, Sami El Solh Street, Celine Center, above OMT offices, Floor 9.

1. Applications

• Civilian applications will be received between 1-27 September 2021 at the FLPAS;
• Applications from army and security forces will be received between 2 August and 27 September 2021 at the Center for Research & Strategic Studies of the Lebanese Army.

2. Requirements

1. FLPAS students:

• Holding at least a BA in Law, Political & Administrative Sciences with a minimum average of 12/20 for LU graduates;
• Fluency in French or English, in addition to Arabic.

2. Other students:

• Holding at least a BA in Law, Political & Administrative Sciences, or relevant majors with a minimum average of 14/20 for private university students, in accordance with LU admission criteria;
• Fluency in French or English, in addition to Arabic.

4. File Study

• The Joint Administrative Board studies applications and announces students selected for the oral interview scheduled at the Center for Research & Strategic Studies at a time to be determined later;
• Accepted students shall view results in the FLPAS deanship and branches and via email.

5. Exams

• Exams are held in the building of the Fouad Shehab Command and Staff College (CSC) – Rihaniyeh on the following dates:

• General Exam: 5 October 2021, 9:00 am
• French/English Exam: 5 October 2021, 12:00 pm

6. Results

• Results are announced on 12 October 2021 in the FLPAS deanship and branches, on the websites of the LU (droit.ul.edu.lb) and the Lebanese Army (lebarmy.gov.lb), and in the Center for Research & Strategic Studies;
• Military officers are informed of the results via internal telegram.

7. Registration

• Accepted students shall register in the FLPAS deanship between 13-29 October 2021;
• Registration fees are paid according to the fees approved by the Lebanese University.

8. Courses

Courses start on 25 October 2021, three days a week (Mon-Wed-Fri) in the afternoon.
