Circular No. 1: (Modification of Circular No. 55 of 23 December 2020) Organization of the bachelor, master and diploma exams at the Faculty of Letters & Human Sciences for the academic year 2020-2021

 

Pursuant to the first meeting of the Faculty Council on 5 January 2021 on the modification of the organization and follow up of distance education exams in the branches of the Faculty of Letters & Human Sciences for the academic year 2020-2021,

Based on the committee’s proposal for the development of strategies for distance learning and evaluation,

Paragraph 2 of Circular No. 55 of 23 December 2020 is amended as follows:

II. Continuous Assessment:

  1. Bachelor and Diploma:

This paragraph is amended and circulated at a later date.

  1. Master’s degree:

The final grade for each master course is distributed as follows:

30% for the grade of the continuous assessment and 70% for the grade of the final exam (in-presence).

The grade of the continuous assessment in the master’s degree (30%) is distributed as follows:

  1. Thematic test via Microsoft Forms constituting 10% of the continuous assessment score.
  2. Remote open-ended questions test constituting 5% of the continuous assessment grade.
  3. Scientific research constituting 15% of the continuous assessment grade.

The rest remains unchanged.
