The Central Committee for Ethics in Life Sciences, Medical Professions and Technologies at the Lebanese University announces that it will begin accepting applications for the evaluation of research involving humans, their data or biological samples for ethical approval during two specific periods of the 2025-2026 academic year:
1. First period: 1 October 2025 to 30 January 2026
2. Second period: 4 – 29 May 2026
All researchers are requested to review the official application form and the checklist specifying the required files and documents in advance.
They should also obtain approval from the scientific committee at their faculty before applying for ethical approval from the Central Committee and attach a copy of the scientific evaluation report and approval issued by the scientific committee to the documents sent to the Ethics Committee.
