Internship for Arabic language student assistants in France 2025-2026
The French Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports offers Lebanese university students’ internships in France in schools with an international Arabic language section.
Disciplines/Faculties concerned:
– Arabic language and literature
– Translation
– History (Arabic)
– Geography (Arabic)
Eligibility criteria: Candidates should:
- Be of Lebanese nationality.
- Be between 20 and 25 years of age at the time of arrival in France;
- Be enrolled in L3 or M2, in one of the following faculties: Arabic Language and Literature, Translation, History, Geography
- Have a good knowledge of the French language (minimum level B1 on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages scale).
Required documents:
- CV (maximum 2 pages including photo)
- Letter of motivation
- Copy of ID card or passport
- Certificate of enrolment for the current year (24-25)
- Certificate of completion and transcript of grades for year 23/24
- French language certificate (DELF or other)
The Internship Period is: 7 months from 1 October 2025 until 30 April 2026.
Selected Candidates will benefit from:
- Round-trip airfare, paid for by the French Embassy
- Visa fees
- A monthly salary of between €1,000 and €1,036.
(Accommodation is the student’s responsibility).
- As a general rule, we ask you to ensure that successful candidates have a minimum amount of money available before their departure. This money will enable them to settle in France (recommended amount: €1,500 – €2,000) while awaiting payment of their first salary.
Obligations:
Selected candidates must be willing to:
- Work 12 hours a week with the Arabic teacher and his students in a French school.
- Go to France from 1 October 2025 until 30 April 2026.
Accommodation to be provided by the student.

Notes:
- Applications that do not include all required documents will not be examined.
- The final granting of the internship is conditional on the consulate’s agreement to issue the visa.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an interview at the French Embassy in Lebanon.
