Integrated Curriculum Program (ICT)
ICT has become an integral and accepted part of everyday life for many people. ICT is increasing in importance in people’s lives and it is expected that this trend will continue, to the extent that ICT literacy has become a functional requirement for people’s work, social, and personal lives.
On the other hand, Social entrepreneurship is gradually becoming a crucial element in the worldwide discussion on volunteerism and civic commitment. It interleaves the passion of a common cause with industrial ethics and is notable and different from the present other types of entrepreneurship models due to its quest for mission associated influence. The previous few years have noticed a surprising progress in the field of social entrepreneurship and has amplified attention ranging throughout all the diverse sectors.
ICTs are used by entrepreneurs to develop innovative techniques aimed at solving social, cultural and environmental problems. These social entrepreneurs as they are currently called, create businesses aimed at generating a positive return to society, rather than profit. To achieve this, they require specific ICT skills to be able to generate appropriate innovations and remain relevant in their field.
Integrated curriculum includes the range of 21st century skills, digital citizenship, entrepreneurship, ICT and Marketing skills which help social entrepreneurs to generate innovations, being well skilled and independent and maintain sustainability.
