Dates and conditions for the 2021-2022 entrance exam to 1st year – Master at the Faculty of Pedagogy

The Faculty of Pedagogy announces the requirements for the entrance exam to the 1st year of the Master’s degree as follows:

First: For Master’s degree students in the following specialized tracks:

1. Teaching Mathematics, Teaching Physics, Teaching Chemistry, Teaching Life Sciences in French and English, Teaching Arabic language & Literature, Teaching French Language & Literature, Teaching English Language & Literature, Teaching History, Teaching Geography, Teaching Civil Education, Teaching Philosophy & Civilizations:

• Holding a Bachelor’s degree in the major with an overall average of at least 12/20.

2. Teaching French language to university students (DIFLU): Holding a Bachelor’s degree with an overall average of at least 12/20 in the following specializations:

• Teaching French Language
• French Language & Literature
• Translation
• Applied Living Languages
• Comparative Linguistics Engineering / Teaching Languages

Second: For Master’s degree students in the following specialized tracks:

Educational Administration, Educational Supervision, School Counseling, Specialized Education, Sport Management, Educational Technology:

1. Educational Administration, Educational Supervision

• Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Pedagogy with an overall average of at least 14/20.

Or

• Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Pedagogy or any other specialization with an overall average of at least 12/20 with an experience in the educational sector of not less than four years after obtaining the Bachelor’s degree.

2. School Counseling

• Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Pedagogy or Psychology, or Sociology with an overall average of at least 14/20.

Or

• Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Pedagogy or Psychology, or Sociology with an overall average of at least 12/20 with an experience in the educational sector of not less than four years after obtaining the Bachelor’s degree.

3. Specialized Education

• Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Pedagogy, Psychology, Speech therapy, Psychomotricity, or ergotherapy with an overall average of at least 14/20.

Or

• Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Pedagogy, Psychology, Speech therapy, Psychomotricity, or ergotherapy with an overall average of at least 12/20 with an experience in the educational sector of not less than four years after obtaining the Bachelor’s degree.

4. Sport Management

• Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education & Sports with an overall average of at least 14/20.

Or

• Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education & Sports with an overall average of at least 12/20 with an experience in the educational sector of not less than four years after obtaining the Bachelor’s degree.

5. Educational Technology

• Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Pedagogy with an overall average of at least 14/20.

Or

• Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with an overall average of at least 14/20.

Or

• Holding a Bachelor’s degree in any specialization with an overall average of at least 12/20 with an experience in the technology sector of not less than four years after obtaining the Bachelor’s degree.

Note: For graduates of private universities, an affidavit equivalent to the BA (certified by the Ministry of Education & Higher Education – General Directorate of Higher Education) is required.
