Announcement of elections for branch and department councils at the Faculty of Fine Arts and Architecture
In accordance with Circular No. 8 issued by the Lebanese University Presidency on 1st October 2025, which calls for elections to be held for members of the councils of units, branches, and departments, and in accordance with Law No. 66 of 4 March 2009 (organization of academic councils at the Lebanese University), the Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Architecture, Dr. Hicham Zeineddine, announces the dates for the elections of the university department councils (department chair and council) and faculty representatives to the councils of the four branches of the faculty, as follows:
First: Final nominations must be submitted to the faculty branch from Wednesday 15 October 2025, to Wednesday 22 October 2025, inclusive, during official opening hours.
Second: The administrations of the four branches of the faculty shall draw up the lists of those to be removed from the electoral roll within one week of that date, recommend them, and correct any errors they contain, after which a copy shall be submitted to the dean.
Third: The administration of the branch announces the list of accepted candidates after the deadline for submitting applications, which is Thursday 23 October 2025.
Fourth: Candidates have the right to withdraw their candidacy until Monday 27 October 2025, during official office hours.
Fifth: Elections will be held on Tuesday 28 October 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the four branches of the faculty.
Sixth: The results will be sent with the complete file to the dean of the faculty on Wednesday 29 October 2025, for the announcement of the results.
