PhD cotutelle program between the Lebanese University and the UT-INSA Network
Selection program 2021:
The selection of the candidates will be made according to the following procedure and schedule:
From February to April 12, 2021: UT-INSA Network researchers send their thesis proposals to the UTT Doctoral School (regis.lengelle@utt.fr) via their institution’s correspondents, before April 12, 2021. The researchers of the Lebanese University shall send their proposals to the Doctoral School of the Lebanese University (fatima.nasser@ul.edu.lb, bilbey@ul.edu.lb). These are then placed on this website.
From April 19 to May 30, 2021: the candidates send their application files to the Lebanese University. The applications are analyzed by a pre-jury, then the candidates are selected by the final jury after an interview in Lebanon. The results of the LU pre-jury are transmitted to the members of the final jury at the end of June. The thesis subject holders receive the candidates’ files and return their ranking (deadline: June 15).
Mid-June 2021: the UT-INSA Network and the Doctoral School of Science & Technology organize the interviews and the final jury which will take place in Lebanon in early July. The final jury will decide on the research topics, the candidates and the co-directors. The candidates will be admitted definitively after the validation of the master.
September 2021: drafting of the application file, registration (according to the modalities of each institution) as well as signature of the cotutelle agreement for each PhD student.
October 2021: start of the PhD program
