Entrance exam for the 1st year of Bachelor’s degree at the FEBA for the academic year 2021-2022

Based on the decision of the Faculty Council meeting on 27 May 2021, the Dean of the Faculty of Economics & Business Administration (FEBA) announces the following:

• The entrance exam for the 1st year of the Bachelor in Economics or Management (French/English), for the 2021-2022 academic year, will take place over a one-day period at a date to be determined.
• Applications will be submitted electronically from 14 June until 19 July 2021, inclusive.

The entrance exam will include:

• Exam in Mathematics (the student selects French or English);
• Exam in Economics (the student selects Arabic, French or English);
• Exam in Foreign Language (the student selects French or English).

Application Procedure:

• Applications will be submitted online at the following page (management1.ul.edu.lb/entrance).
• A single file (PDF format) is to be downloaded, including the following documents:

5. The extract of the personal civil status record dated less than 6 months (or a true copy certified by the civil status officer), or the Lebanese passport or residence permit for foreign students;
5. The certificate of admission to the Baccalaureate duly certified by the relevant school district or the Ministry of Education & Higher Education, or a true copy of the Baccalaureate or its equivalent.

• After two effective working days from the date of submission of the application on the electronic page, the applicant finalizes his/her registration:

5. At the branch chosen among the six branches of the Factulty (Hadath, Ashrafieh, Tripoli, Aley, Nabatieh and Rachaya) with the following documents:

• Two passport photos, certified by the mayor, and identical to the photo on the personal civil status record;
• A financial stamp of 1,000 LBP.

5. The Department of Student Affairs issues a receipt of payment specific to each applicant.
5. The candidate will have to pay an amount of LBP 35,000 as registration fee for the exam, via LibanPost, after receiving the said receipt.

Note:

• Adherence to the Covid-19 preventive measures is imperative while in the branch and during the entrance exam.
• The convocations are given to the candidate three days before the date of the competition in the branch of registration.
• When entering the examination room, the candidate shall present the extract of his or her personal civil status record, or a true certified copy thereof, or the Lebanese passport, or the residence permit for foreign students, in addition to the convocation issued by the branch where he or she is registered.
• The date and place of the entrance exam will be specified later on the website of the Lebanese University (www.ul.edu.lb).
• Following the announcement of the results, admitted candidates who wish to enroll in the first year are required to submit the required documents specified in the PDF file, failing which their admission will be cancelled.
• Students with a technical and professional degree in computer programming – commercial sciences – secretarial work – accounting and computer science – sales and commercial relations – administrative secretarial work – hotel management – information technology – auditing and management, are allowed to apply.
