The Sports Activity Department will host the Universities Cross Country Championship, which will be held starting from 8:30 am on Sunday, April 6, at the Rafik Hariri University Campus – Hadath.
The championship will witness two races for the male (2.5 km) and female (5 km) categories, and there will be two rankings for individuals and teams.
On another level, the Lebanese University team will compete in the second phase of the Rapid Chess Championship, whose rounds will be held starting from noon on Saturday, April 5, at the Arab Open University / Tayouneh Roundabout.
The LAU team leads the overall team standings with 18.5 points.
As part of the university tournaments to qualify for the 2025 Universiade in Germany next July, the Lebanese University table tennis team will participate in the tournament organized by the Lebanese Sports Federation for Universities (FSUL) on Saturday, April 5 at the American University of Beirut (AUB).
The Taekwondo team will also compete in the qualifying competitions for the Universiade starting from 5 pm on Monday, April 7, at the Innovation & Sports Center of Saint Joseph University – Museum.
