Centre MINE is pleased to invite you to HECD next webinar “Employer Engagement: A Comprehensive Approach”. The webinar will be facilitated by FSU STTA Ms. Jana Kooi (bio attached) on Thursday 27th of May, 2021 at 3:00 pm. During this session, participants will be exploring strategies to maximize opportunities for Employer Engagement and to build the process of strong industry connections and business partnerships. The webinar objectives are the following:
- Learn how to build strong industry connections, advisory committees, and business partnerships
- Evaluate strategies for supporting students through career planning and job placement
- Develop a plan for alumni and community engagement
- Consider the benefits of employer tuition assistance programs
- Understand the value of creating a business development team to focus on employer contract training
- Create an action plan for building an employer engagement plan for your institution
