With the support of the International Astronomical Union (IAU), the coordinators of astronomical communication and awareness offices and coordinators of astronomy education offices in the Arab world are organizing a series of monthly lectures and workshops aimed at promoting a love of astronomy.
The 9th lecture entitled “The Milky Way Eating Galaxies” will be presented by Dr. Mohammad Abbas, lecturer at NYU Abu Dhabi via Zoom, in cooperation with the International Astronomical Union Office for Astronomical Communication and Awareness, the International Astronomical Union Office for Astronomy Education in Lebanon and the Center for Astro, Particle, and Planetary Physics at NYU Abu Dhabi.
