On the occasion of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Faculty of Economics & Business Administration – Branch 2 organized an awareness lecture presented by Dr. Nagi S. El-Saghir, Professor of Oncology at the AUB and Director of the Breast Cancer Treatment Center at the Naef K. Basile Cancer Institute.
Dr. El-Saghir addressed the importance of early detection of breast cancer and its role in increasing the chances of recovery, emphasizing that self-examination and regular check-ups are the first line of defense against the disease. He also provided a set of practical guidelines for students, urging them to spread a culture of health awareness in their university and family environments and to confront the fear of disease with knowledge and science.
