President Bassam Badran appointed Dr. Elie Dib Hadchiti as Dean of the Faculty of Public Health as of 2 January 2025.
Dr. Hadchiti holds a PhD in Physical Biochemistry/Radiation Biology and Cancer Sciences from Claude Bernard University – Lyon 1, France, and has been managing the University Medical Center since 2019.
Dr. Hadchiti holds an international patent related to the development of a new strategy for cancer treatment, and has a number of research papers published in peer-reviewed scientific journals on the development of cancer therapies.
