Rector Bassam Badran has appointed Dr. Saada Alame as Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences (FMS), effective 23 February 2024.
Dr. Alame holds a doctorate in general medicine from the Faculty of Medical Sciences of the Lebanese University and a certificate of specialization in pediatrics from the University of Paris 5. She heads the Department of Pediatrics at the Faculty of Medical Sciences and is a consultant in pediatric neurology to a number of hospitals and health centers.
She has published several scientific articles at international level in the field of pediatric neurology, neuropsychiatric immune disorders in children and vaccines against hepatitis and meningitis.
