The Center for Educational Studies & Research at the Faculty of Pedagogy organized an “Educational Café” entitled “Specialized Physical Education between Theory and Practice”, presented by Dr. Bachir Abdelkhalek and coordinated by Dr. Asia Al-Muhtar.
Dr. Abdelkhalek started the activity by defining specialized physical education and how to design sports programs for people with special needs to improve their physical fitness, motor, psychological and social abilities, and the importance of integrating them into society through physical activities that suit their potential.
Dr. Abdulkhalek touched on the basic skills of a physical education teacher, such as understanding difficulties and special needs, patience, and the ability to communicate effectively.
