The Continuing Professional Development Committee at the Faculty of Medical Sciences hosted a joint seminar with the American University of Beirut (AUB) entitled “Developing Teaching in Medical Education” in the presence of more than 50 doctors and professors from the Faculty of Medical Sciences.
Dr. Saada Alame, Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, Dr. Walid Alame, Chair of the Continuing Professional Development Committee, and Dr. Enaam Nasrallah, Head of the Accreditation Program, spoke during the seminar, stressing the importance of the pivotal role of such initiatives in enhancing the skills and competencies of faculty members and ensuring their compliance with accreditation standards in medical education.
Dr. Zeina Kanafani, a professor at the AUB, discussed innovative strategies for applying advanced, practical and effective teaching methods to enrich the learning experience of medical students.
