Dr. Nael Berri, Professor at the Neuroscience Research Center of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, has received the Good Citizen Award from the University of Bath, UK, in recognition of his work with the university’s chemical engineering research team.
Dr. Berri joined the British university last year and is pursuing post-doctoral research at the Center for Bioengineering & Biomedical Technologies (CBio).
In line with the university’s standards for quality and professionalism in teamwork, scientific research and laboratory activities, the award was presented to Dr. Berri, who has played a major role in promoting the research culture within the university and its center.
It should be noted that Dr. Berri’s research focuses on the development of new material processing techniques that can be used in tissue engineering scaffolds (new tissue growth) and medical applications (biolayers).
