The Lebanese University team was crowned volleyball champion in the final of the Lebanese University Sports Federation (LUSF) championship for the second division, after it renewed its victory over the AUB team in two sets without reply.
The Lebanese University team received the title trophy in the presence of Dr. Tarek Assaf, member of the committee in charge of activating sports activity, and the coach of the female basketball team, Georges Farah.
The Lebanese University team was represented by Charbel Younes (captain), Raif Hatoum, Serge Sirini, Samer Kassab, Ayoub Khatib, Nadim Mouawad, Khaled Yassin, Elias Homsi, Guy Tabet, Charbel Matar, Mark Youssef, Hassan Awala, and Mohammad Al-Masri.
