President General Joseph Aoun visited the Central Administration Building of the Lebanese University – Museum, where he met with University President Dr. Bassam Badran in the presence of Minister of Education & Higher Education Dr. Rima Karami.
President Aoun considered that education is Lebanon’s advantage and that investing in it and in minds is more important than investing in natural resources, which require minds to be exploited. He pointed out that the Lebanese University is the natural place to hone minds and secure education, given the advanced level it has achieved and the successes it has recorded among universities around the world. He added that the Lebanese University is the university of all Lebanese citizens and that we will work to ensure that it is able to fulfill this mission.
