The Department of Arts & Archaeology at the Deanship of the Faculty of Letters & Human Sciences organized a seminar entitled “New Burials Discovered in Budapest”, presented by Dr. Jozsef Beszedes, Head of the Department of Classical Archaeology at the Faculty of Archaeology of Pázmány St. Peter’s University (PPCU) in Hungary.

 

The seminar was attended by students from the Department of Arts & Archaeology at the FLHS and the Master of Forensic Science at the Faculty of Science, in addition to a number of professors and interested parties.

 

The seminar, which was part of the ERASMUS+ cooperation program, discussed the issue of burials discovered from the Roman period and the process of work leading up to their discovery and announcement.
