The Faculty of Law, Political & Administrative Sciences – Branch 1 organized a seminar on “The Role of the European Union and Ways to Develop Cooperation with Lebanon.” The seminar was hosted by the EU Ambassador to Beirut, Sandra De Waele, and attended by President Bassam Badran, the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Dr. Habib Kazzi, the Branch Director, Dr. Mujtaba Mortada, and a number of faculty teaching staff and students.
President Badran gave a speech in which he pointed out that there are dozens of cooperation agreements between the Lebanese University and the European Union and that most of the university professors were educated in European countries.
President Badran stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation between the European Union and the faculties of the Lebanese University, including the Faculty of Law, Political & Administrative Sciences, for the benefit of its students and professors.
