The Faculty of Engineering team won the Branches 1/Lebanese University championship in mini football, which was held at the sports complex of Rafik Hariri University Campus – Hadath, with teams representing ten faculties competing.
The Faculty of Engineering team defeated its counterpart from the Faculty of Law, Political & Administrative Sciences with a score of 3-1 in the final match.
The Faculty of Engineering team was led by coach Mahdi Zeineddine, while the Faculty of Law team was led by former international player Captain Hassan Ayoub.
The two teams received the first-place trophy and medals from the head of sports activities in Branches 1, Saleh Zeaiter, the head of the mini-football committee, Dr. Mustafa Ismail, and the coaches in the sports activities department: Hassan Ayoub, Abdul Karim Faqih, Dani Naanouh, Saad Semaan, and Hussein Issa.
