The Lebanese University ranked second in Lebanon in the field of food sciences and related research, according to Scimago Institutions Rankings 2025.
The new ranking reflects the Lebanese University’s excellence in scientific research, innovation, and academic production at the local and international levels, and confirms the Faculty of Public Health’s commitment to developing research and knowledge in the field of food science in pursuit of a healthier and more sustainable future.
Scimago ranking is considered one of the top rankings for academic and research institutions, using three main criteria: research performance, innovation, and societal impact, which is measured by online visibility.
